 n us for the OSPARK Bootcamp!\n\nWHAT IS THE OSPARK BOOTCAMP?\nThe OSPARK 
 bootcamp is all about creating visibility through outreach and marketing. 
 It's a cohort-based learning opportunity for people working in or leading 
 Open Research initiatives\, services or infrastructures. We focus on the n
 eeds of Open Research ambassadors who already have open research experienc
 e\, and want space to learn concepts\, exchange ideas and learn from one a
 nother.\nThis bootcamp consists of a 6-week online training cohort program
 me (kickoff + six 90-minute sessions) and a 2-day onsite workshop in Zuric
 h\, Switzerland.\n\nIn the online course part you can expect:\n\nEmails w
 ith information and tasks (including workbooks) every Monday and Thursday.
 \nOne 15-minute check-in per week with another participant (your buddy) to
  exchange about problems and questions.\nA 1.5-hour online session per wee
 k - guided interactive calls with space to learn from experts\, interact w
 ith your cohort co-trainees\, and work on/discuss assignments together. \
 n\n \nAll in all\, please expect to work 3 hours per week on the online c
 ourse. You will spend much of that time on your initiative's outreach\, no
 t just on learning.\nAt the 2-day hybrid onsite workshop we will tackle co
 mmon challenges and work together on promoting the wonderful initiatives\,
  services\, and infrastructures you are building. This time\, the onsite w
 orkshop will be in the middle of the cohort (previously it was at the end)

 ine\nAt the end of the course\, we will host 2-3 online sessions to allow 
 people to share their learnings\, tips\, and successes. This will welcome 
 people across all three cohorts of OSPARK\, and does not require attendanc
 e at the in-person event.\nAfter attending the graduation and filling out 
 the final feedback form\, participants will be awarded a certificate of pa
 rticipation. \nPARTICIPATION FEES\nFunding for running the OSPARK bootcam
 p is from the OSCARS project.\nHence participation is free of charge.\nTo 
 increase our budget to for offering travel stipends\, we integrated the po
 ssibility to pay solidarity payments.\nTRAVEL STIPENDS FOR ONSITE WORKSHOP
 \nWe are able to offer a few stipends to support folks with their travel a
 nd hotel in the range of €200-500. In the last two bootcamps\, the most 
 common accommodation we have offered is a free hotel or airbnb. \nWe can 
 not always accommodate as many requests as we would like\, and will offer 
 online-only participation as an option if you are unable to attend the in-
 person sessions. \nINCLUSIVE EVENT\nWe strive to make this event as inclu
 sive as possible. Please let us know about your needs in the registration 
 form. \nBy default we provide: \n\ntranscription at all online calls via
  Otter.ai\nthe option to participate in online breakout rooms in written o
 r spoken format\, depending in your preference. \nThe cohort calls will e
 xtend and support the email topics\, allowing you to participate in whiche
 ver way works best for you\, and reinforcing solo learning. \n\nVENUE\nTh
 e onsite workshop will be held in Zurich. Details will be announced shortl
 y.\nRESEARCH\nAs a participant\, you will be asked to take part in some re
 search evaluating the course. More information will be provided closer to 
 the time.\nORGANIZERS\nThe OSPARK Bootcamp is organized by the Digital Res
 earch Academy and OLS and funded via the OSCARS project:\n        \n\n
 The onsite workshop is held in collaboration with OILS (Open Innovation in
  Life Sciences)\, CRS (Center for Reproducible Science and Research Synthe
 sis)\, and Life Science Zurich.       \n    \nStipends are supported
