DESCRIPTION:\nAbout the Workshop\nThis event is an ONLINE event organised 
 by DRA. The attendance fee is 155€ (incl. MwSt.)\nWorking with AI Agents
 : Productivity with Integrity\nAI is continuously changing how research ge
 ts done. In particular\, increasingly autonomous capabilities (agentic AI)
  are being built into the LLM-based tools many researchers already use. Th
 ese agents offer powerful ways to speed up parts of the research process: 
 they can search the literature\, write and run analysis code\, and draft t
 ext based on collections of documents. In this hands-on workshop\, you wil
 l experience the power of AI agents and discuss how to use them responsibl
 y by being the accountable expert human in the loop.\nIn a mix of short in
 puts and practical work\, you will:\n\n\nunderstand what AI agents are and
  how they are transforming research\n\n\nput agentic tools to the test you
 rself by using readily available AI agent platforms (such as ChatGPT Work 
 and Claude Cowork) and critically evaluate their output\n\n\nfind out abou
 t value-based principles of research integrity and reflect on how they tra
 nslate to working with AI agents responsibly\n\n\nwork in a team to build 
 a strategy to instruct agents for a concrete use case and verify their wor
 k\n\n\ntake away tested prompts and agent instructions you can adapt for y
 our own work\n\n\nAbout you \nThis workshop is for you if you are an act
 ive researcher (PhD student\, postdoc\, or PI) who wants to get more out o
 f AI than question-answering\, and cares about doing so without compromisi
 ng your scientific standards. You do not need any coding experience or tec
 hnical background.\n \nIt is probably not for you if you are looking for 
 deep technical training in building AI systems from scratch.\n  \nWhat w
 e expect from you:\n·       a laptop with a working Zoom instance\, ca
 mera and microphone\n·       willingness to experiment\, share screens
 \, and work in small groups\n·       an account with at least one agen
 tic AI platform\, set up before the workshop\n \nAbout your trainer\nDr. 
 Ilona Lipp is a neuroscientist\, psychologist and trainer who combines thr
 ee things that rarely come together. Firstly\, she understands the technic
 al foundations of AI\, having worked with complex data analysis workflows 
 throughout her career and trained neural networks herself\, both in resear
 ch and as a data scientist in industry. Secondly\, she knows the academic 
 system from the inside\, with over a decade of doing interdisciplinary res
 earch on the human brain in Austria\, the UK and Germany. And thirdly\, sh
 e knows how to teach\, with intensive training in didactics and coaching. 
 Today she works as an Open Science officer at Leipzig University and as a 
 freelance trainer\; in both roles\, she works to improve the quality and i
 ntegrity of research. Her workshops are hands-on\, interactive and adapted
  to the people in the room. They are usually commissioned by research inst
 itutions\; this open workshop is a rare opportunity to join one directly.\
