Description

Unlock your potential and join us for an immersive 2-day onsite Effective Podcasting workshop! You'll work in small groups to create compelling content and produce an episode for the upcoming NFDI4Health podcast series.

This hands-on workshop will equip you with the tools and knowledge to produce high-quality episodes on topics such as FAIR data, privacy considerations, citizen science, or any other topic you and your team choose. Whether you're interested in hosting, scripting, advertising, or the technical aspects of podcasting—like equipment, recording, and editing—there's a place for everyone's passion in this collaborative experience.

Workshop Highlights:

Before Onsite: Introduction and basics on podcasting via Research Podcasting Essentials podcast series. (Listen here)

Day 1 (Onsite): Dive into the technical aspects of recording, from equipment setup to microphone techniques, and participate in interactive sessions on hosting and speaking.

Day 2 (Onsite): Master the essentials of editing and discover the best platforms and strategies for distributing your podcast.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have produced a podcast episode as part of the NFDI4Health podcast series, with the skills and confidence to continue developing and expanding the podcast. Don't miss this opportunity to contribute to the NFDI4Health community and share your voice on important topics.
